Stay informed and in control with Hiab's HiConnect™. This web-based platform provides real-time insights into your crane's usage, location, operational hours, and productivity. By leveraging this data, fleet managers can proactively address maintenance needs, monitor operator behavior, and optimize fleet performance, ultimately reducing downtime and enhancing safety.
HiPro Control System
Experience unparalleled precision with the HiPro control system. Standard on all K-Cranes, HiPro features Overload Protection (OLP) to ensure safe operations without compromising performance. As the crane approaches its load limit, audible and visual alerts are activated at 90% capacity, and radius-increasing functions are halted upon reaching full capacity. Additionally, Automatic Speed Control (ASC) gradually reduces crane speed between 80% and 100% capacity, preventing abrupt movements and enhancing safety.
Variable Stability Limit (VSL)
Optimize lifting capacity with Hiab's Variable Stability Limit system. VSL monitors stabilizer extension and pressure at each leg to determine the maximum safe crane capacity, even when full extension isn't possible. For the K-HiPro 505 model, VSL Plus further compensates for the truck's load weight, offering enhanced lifting capacities and improving operational efficiency.
Load Stability System (LSS-V)
Enhance load handling with the Load Stability System. LSS-V ensures smoother, more precise vertical boom movements by controlling and minimizing bounce during abrupt stops. This reduces the risk of load damage and decreases structural stress on the crane, extending its service life and facilitating faster, more efficient deliveries. Hiab
Crane Tip Control (CTC)
Simplify complex operations with Crane Tip Control, available for the 285 and 425 crane models. CTC streamlines control to three levers—horizontal extension, vertical lift, and crane rotation—making it easier for operators to perform intricate maneuvers. Semi-Automatic Folding (SAF)
Reduce setup and stowing time with Semi-Automatic Folding. SAF simplifies the folding and unfolding process to a single-lever operation, protecting both the crane and truck from potential damage. This user-friendly feature streamlines routine tasks, allowing operators to focus on the job at hand.
CombiDrive3 Remote Control
Gain optimal control with the HIAB CombiDrive3 remote. This system allows operators to position themselves for the best vantage point during operations, enhancing safety and precision. With adjustable speed settings of 100%, 70%, or 50%, operators can easily adapt crane movements to suit the task, particularly when handling heavy loads at extended reaches. Designed for durability, the CombiDrive3 ensures reliable performance throughout the crane's lifespan.

All Hiab cranes come with a 2-year full machine warranty (or 3 years on drywall K-Cranes), plus an extended 5-year warranty on structural components. That means major parts like the boom are covered well beyond the industry-standard term.
As your Hiab dealer, we handle all warranty support in-house, with factory-trained technicians and fast access to parts. Certain exclusions apply, such as normal wear items.
